Please consider to have, in addition to strength/dexterity/CPU/life ability categories, a separate category for points you can spend on getting trained by characters (like Kevin Mitnick, the red guard fighter, the red guard laser lab guy etc). When I played v.0.12.1 and gained a level, I did not realize that I had to decide by myself whether I wanted to spend those five training points I received _either_ on increasing my abilities (strength/dexterity/CPU/life) _or_ on getting training on melee, ranged and programming combat.

So it might be good to make 'training points' a separate ability, next to strength/dexterity/CPU/life, and to make training points only usable for getting training on melee, ranged and programming combat. From what I understood discussing this with Stedevil, this is how Diablo II handles it, also.

[15:14] <TomTee> oh yes you'Re right the training points did increase by five several times when i gained a level. but i never thought about taking training by that time.
[15:14] <TomTee> it should be more obvious that you can choose to use the training points for this purpose, too, and will loose the ability to get training if you just spend them on your abilities.
[15:15] <Stedevil> Hmm, yeah I guess, eg Diablo2 separates the points for "special skills" and stats
[15:15] <TomTee> yes this could be a seperate category.
[15:15] <Stedevil> Maybe we need to separate these things as well to make it more apparent
