The background image while taking over bots (/graphics/backgrounds/
transfer.jpg) contains a typo. It says, "Transfering Data." Well, "Transfering" 
is not a word; however "Transferring" is. It should read, "Transferring Data."

I don't have the skills to correct this typo as-is, and would encourage 
somebody who has the original, layered image to perhaps volunteer. Better than 
me trying to touch it up as-is. ;)

Uh oh. It needs "metal3.jpg" - that's an image we don't have. It won't look the
same at all without it. Perhaps we can contact basse and complete our collection
of missing textures, hopefully he still has them...

Or re-do the image - it wasn't that beautiful anyway :)

I think this is important.

Despite my often horrible spelling, I think that we shouldn't release 0.15
without this being resolved.

It's been like that for a decade (literally!). 

If we had an easy way of modifying this I wouldn't mind the false sense of
emergency but clearly this isn't an important issue at all... :) It's minor and
also hard to fix, hence the original priority level.

I don't see the difficulty in fixing it. Really just need to find a new metal 
texture (there are too many available to count) and perhaps an associated bump 
texture. The old one sucks imo, there are like moire pattern looking artifacts 
anyway. You can't go on blenderartists without tripping over a metal texture 
pack, guys.

So are we going to stall a release because of a missing "r" in a
not-crystal-clear decorative text that the player is highly unlikely to look at
in depth (if only because the minigame featuring the background requires much
focus and high speed and usually lasts a few seconds) and might even be replaced
altogether?

No, we aren't. Hence my previous message.

Honestly I almost looked over it entirely. And as ahuillet said, if it's been 
like that for a decade -- unnoticed -- then it may very well go on for another 
decade without bothering a single soul.

*shrug* Certainly nothing to worry about.

We changed to use console_bg1.jpg quite some time ago.

The resource is unused, so it can (theoretically) be removed from
data/backgrounds and src/opengl.c:626 and this issue, closed.
