I think it makes more sense to have it shown in inventory (we also have plenty
of free space near tux head for the display).
Kinda low priority since this requires some ui-coding and remaking of some
graphical elements/graphics (screens need to be slightly altered but it's
probably just a c&p job)

...It may be done, but I recommend to left it on char screen as well.
Well, various RPGs keeps the money bar on the char screen, with a copy (for
info) on the inventory screen. So I recommend to leave both.

Have you considered making circuits into a normal item? And perhaps introducing max stack amount?
