Mhhh... Strange. In the trace output that you sent, the game is stopped in
DoMenuSelection(), so the loading screen is expected to have been displayed...
unless I do not understand what that trace is reporting...
Do you know how to run the game from a terminal ? If so, please try to run
"freedroidRPG -n" (to use SDL rather than OpenGL).
Also, do you know how to build the game yourself, using macports ?
If you can't do that, then, well, I'll try to update a mac to El Capitan this week.
