freedroidRPG -b text doesn't show any text besides something like "loading..".
It did show something some time ago, and the code says
"abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" which it
probably was showing back when it worked?

It is being shown at the top-left from the game.

You have a few miliseconds to read the message, and I think it may be working 
poorly as a benchmark, but the original issue is that it was not showing text 
and on 0.16+git it works fine.

Therefore, closing the issue.
(Please open a new ticket if you think text benchmark needs to be reworked)
