Does the game crashes immediately when you launch it, or is it after selecting
an option in the menu ? Do you see the 'starting screen' with a progress bar
before the game crashes ?

The game works on the Mac that I have, but it's an older MacOSX, and I'm not
really willing to update to El Capitan... But well, perhaps I'll have to...
